TELA

Tela, which means fabric in Filipino, is a homegrown sustainable and ethical fashion brand created to offer sustainable solutions through fabric usage. Under TAYO Change Agency, we were tapped to execute a one-day outdoor shoot for their new line called “Refresh.” 

I was able to (co-) creative direct, and was secondary photographer at the shoot together with our in-house production team, including our main photogrpher, stylist, and models. The idea was to craft loose and one-with-nature visuals that exemplify what the brand stands for. 


 

When i was first introduced to Alyssa (Founder of TELA), I loved her vision and admired the brands thrust for genuine sustainability. Often we see so many brands greenwashing their way into the fashion scene, but TELA is different. It truly is one of the trailblazers for ethical apparel in the Philippines and a new generation of local fashion.
